Welcome!

I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Evan Wildstein, an organizationist on a mission to improve the very notion of leadership — especially in the nonprofit space. I knew this journey would require deep reflection, skill-building, and some help!

Nearly two decades into my career, I began exploring graduate studies to complement the journey. That’s when I discovered Gonzaga University’s School of Leadership Studies and its remarkable Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program.

Everything you’ll read and see on this site is the result of thoughtful, introspective work over 24+ months, 900+ hours, thousands of words written, and countless cups of coffee.

To navigate around, use the menu (=) at the top of this page to explore more about my background, leadership journey, and the world’s first* comprehensive article about how the thoughtful practice of servant-leadership can transform philanthropy — The Servant Raiser.

Thanks for being here!

* Thorough research on the subject found that, while many have written about servant-leadership and philanthropy, no resources exist that specifically examine the philosophy’s core characteristics and how to activate on each them to improve philanthropy.
